McMinville Video
Here’a another clip from the Wall of Gray archives: McMinville. This is a sweet park - especially considering what was there before Dreamland re-created the place. A great palce to show the kids who complain of having no ’street’ stuff at concrete parks. It’s a great layout that compromises street and transistion riding.
This video features Pablito, Chris (from Portland), and ‘that one guy with the sideburns that I see shredding all over the place’. They’re workin’ over that bowl with the hole.

That same fish-eye lense shot, but of a guy doing a bs tail-slide with Chet in the background with another guy on the deck, made the cover of the TransWorld Skateboarding buyers guide. I bought it just for the cover at $4.99!
Going to see Ozomatli this Saturday!

Dude! That sequence of me coming out of the half-pipe, going to tail, dropping in, grinding, and then almost making it over the door, but instead, shooting my board off into the distance… that’s one of my favorites!

Yeah, I was psyched I actually caught that run on tape. I didn’t get too much footage that day.

Nice, I’ll look for that one. I got a small collection of Oregon Skatepark magazine covers. Gonna be part of the Wall of Gray Skatepark pages whenever I get around to making ‘em.

I was just looking at the clips from our first trip to McMinville. That was so sweet that you stuck with it and made it over the hole! And Chris and some of the other dudes were really killin it. Gotta make it back there….

Chris was there at Donald the day I made the stairs. He was helping me there, too. He was worried that my Anti-Hero board was too big, but I showed him!
