Patriot Act Update
I usually let Paul handle the political posts, but hey, this is actually some good news for a change.
The Senate has refused to extend most portions of the nasty Patriot Act! Finally a bit of common sense coming from DC.
The Senate on Friday refused to reauthorize major portions of the USA Patriot Act after critics complained they infringed too much on Americans’ privacy and liberty, dealing a huge defeat to the Bush administration and Republican leaders.
Update: …or maybe not.
Seems like they are changing their minds. Buncha Asshats.
Bush says that “No one should be allowed to block the Patriot Act”. Is Fascism patriotic?
fas·cism:
1. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

Speaking of illegal wire-taps…Here’s an easy way to find out if your e-mail is being snooped by the NSA.
