Tylenol Bowl
Waiting for the rain to stop can be a real headache when you want to get your skate on. These guys in Brooklyn don’t have to worry about that anymore - they built a cool indoor wooden bowl with concrete coping ~ The Tylenol Bowl. Check out this short video/documentary.

Isn’t it amazing how the older skate community really comes together sometimes? I’m so not a pool coping skater, but damn that bowl looks fun! So Tylenol sponsored this thing? That’s crazy talk. Dan, hope you don’t mind a bit o’ content poaching - I posted the link on SkateTN.com and will also add it to the Concretins.com blog (with props to WallofGray of course)… Keep up the good work! (get me a mailing address for your copy of Lil’Tony’s Sessions&Roadtrips 2005) We are gearing up for the Dew Tour this weekend! Keep an eye on NBC and you might spot a Concretin or 4!! I also heard Animal Chin will be there…

Yeah - it looks like a sweet spot. I’ve only skated a wooden bowl like once or twice, but this one looks pretty cool. I like that twinkie looking shape that stiks in from the side.
I assume that Tylenol sponsored the thing - at least the rental of the space. The website where that video lives is basically empty and they never really mention Tylenol, but the site is made by them. killer spot at any rate.
I’ll look for that Dew Tour on the boob tube this weekend.
Feel free to re-post anything that is on the WallofGRay. Just trying to spread the word. And good luck searching for Animal Chin!
